[Picture of the Day] Cameroon Football Giants: Petit Ngando & Bekombo aka Moros

Francois Bekombo played for Caiman Douala and was one of the most gifted defenders of his generation. His football career ended prematurely in 1972 following a vicious tackle by Brazilian 1970 world Cup hero Jaïrzinho. This was during a friendly encounter at the Douala reunification stadium between Botafogo football club of Brazil and the Cameroon national team which was preparing for the 8th African Nations cup tournament hosted by Cameroon.

Cameroon Football Greats: Petit Ngando and the legendary Bekombo (Moros)that the Brazilian Jairzinho put paid to his career in a friendly encounter in Yaounde. I am in the middle. Cheers

Which one is Bekombo? BTW, I have read different reports stating that Botafogo played the national team in Yaounde (which the won 2-1) and other reports stating that this was in Douala where they won 1-0. Various reports also state that Bekombo was injured in Douala others, Yaounde. Maybe an indepth interview with Bekombo (spiced by some old pictures) will be most welcome...
